Fairfax rod and gun, in Virginia, held its first shoot of the year today, the Red Nose Open. We had 48 shooters for the single 12 ga event , and that's a pretty good showing. We have the Blue Nose in 2 weeks, and hope to have the same turn out.

Our refs get $8 per 100 pulled in all shoots.

Our health department requires a written plan for events exceeding 25 people. Plan has to be submitted to the health department 10 days in advance.

Also require masks outdoors if 6' rule can't be accommodated. Maybe work for trap as stations are 6' apart. Doubt it would be doable for skeet with a puller and 5 shooters hovering around the station. We'll probably have to require masks while shooting, outdoors ffs.

Yesterday, for the Blue Nose open, we had 46 shooters. Thursday night, he had 56 signed up. 10 decided not to shoot due to the cold temps.

In 2 weeks, we have the Valentine Open, and that is the last of our 1-gun shoots. In March, we have a 2-gun 12/20 shoot on Saturday, and 200 doubles on Sunday. But that's the weekend of the Triple J, and I plan on being in Texas.
