I was sent this by a UK lady shooter, so for $8 a month I thought well why not, and I have to say I’m impressed. Lots of talking things over (the terminologies are different but easy to grasp) lots of shotkam footage used to aid with the explanations. Really is worth a look from one of the best in the business and for less than a box a shotshells

Personally, a convicted cheater is unacceptable. I wouldn’t subscribe to his stuff if he paid me $8 a month. There are too many excellent instructors that do it right. Work with someone of integrity.

I like you was wary, and as I was informed allegations are simply allegations. No proof or statement was made and therefore I decided to give the benefit of doubt and learn all I can.

He was disqualified at the World English for cheating. That isn’t an allegation.

I agree it is a plant. We seem to have several members pretending to be someone or something else. That said, it doesn't change my opinion of what I think of him.

Too many other elite shooters, that represent the game with integrity that I’d spend money with first.

What was he convicted for? Pressuring a ref?

The cheating was shameful and i can't stand a shill. if anything these sort of posts drive me away from his videos.

That aside his free videos are enlightening and entertaining. He is direct, clear in his explanations (including the 'why') and utterly lacking in gimmicky stuff.

Is there anywhere to read about the allegations?

the pic of his scorecard was posted in several places and appears to show multiple erasures/changes without initials. I saw no plausible explanation offered by the shooter and NSCA stuffed it under the rug. End result is nobody really KNOWS what happened there. If it were me and there was a legit explanation for the changes i'd be shouting it from the rooftops and vigorously defending my reputation.

Search World English on this forum. You can read ad nauseam. The bottom line is he shot the World English at Northbrook and his scores were removed. Shoot management at Northbrook did not consider it an "allegation".

It's a shame Benny didn't use better judgement at the Worlds, as his instruction and videos themselves are both really good.

The allegations if true are a shameful act , and leave a bad taste in the mouth.
This thread isn’t about that thought , and if I put the above mentioned out of the equation then I think his teaching and methods are of a very high level and can only benefit the Sporting disciplines/ community.

Has he ever made a statement about the situation? Maybe on Facebook?

The situation surrounding Ben's alleged cheating is interesting for sure. We saw the scorecard early on, and heard the allegation, but never heard Ben's official reply or any official verdict from the NSCA. We do know the NSCA sanctioned him really only because his name and score were removed from the World results. The NSCA has remained silent without any public notice. It seems anybody involved from the outset who knew or alleged what happened have gone radio silent as well, probably because the NSCA asked them to. So we will likely never know the full story for certain.

The more interesting facts to me are that it appears 1) that UK sporting has *not* sanctioned him and 2) Krieghoff and GameBore still sponsor him; and I doubt either of those would be the case *IF* the US allegation had been clearly confirmed...

While I do not and will not ever condone cheating of any kind, it does not alter the veracity of the content in Ben's videos; IMHO there is some very good material in them for sporting shooters.

The NSCA asked them to? Why would they do that? I think it far more likely that the legal settlement made included an NDA which forbid anyone from disclosing anything about the evidence or settlement. Probably under severe financial penalty for violating that, me thinks.

What right have you or anyone else to see that information anyway? Unless you can demonstrate personal loss or damage, I understand the curiosity, but none of us has any right to know anything other than the fact that it was dealt with by the club at the time, and by the NSCA upon appeal, to a settlement of some sort all parties agreed to abide by.

As far as sponsorships, a quick search of websites would suggest that Ben's name is curiously absent. Just because he's still wearing their gear doesn't make him a sponsored shooter, any more than my Perazzi shirt does me.

https://gamebore.com/uk/pro-shots

https://www.krieghoff.com/krieghoff-pro ... pro-staff/

And finally, according to the CPSA's official website, that person is no longer a member of their organization, and may not shoot registered targets in their organization. One should always get their facts straight before making such bold statements about who's sanctioned who.

Well then, it appears I must stand corrected about his sponsorships and UK sanctions. Thanks for clarifying.
