I use Avast, not Norton, and get no issue with this site.

I use Malwarebytes on the desktop.

What I see getting flagged is "Request URL: https://tags.dashboardad.net/tags/dashb ... 5660813538"

This is embedded in this website as javascript: "dashboad.js"

dashboardad.net is categorized as "Travel" in another security tool.

On my phone lots of malware and spam pops up for this site. The admins need to get their security up to snuff for our protection.

My iPhone continues to get redirects. I run the latest version of iOS, 13.6.1. This is really annoying to always try several times before I can get on.

Well we now see some anti virus software does not catch Trojans, but that is alright because the owner don't care

Shotgunworld.com has turned into a problem site for my browser and anti-virus software.

I get frequent pop-up warnings and now also have hang-ups when trying to use the "view the latest unread post" or "view the last post in the thread" buttons. It sucks.

Like others, it happens almost every time I open Shotgunworld on my smartphone.
Curley, can anything be done? Thanks.

Demi

Try the Tapatalk app. The site is working perfectly for me with that app.

The admins are working on this problem. Apparently, it is quite difficult to pin down the place where it occurs. It seems to be in one of the advert pop-ups. Of course, they do not go through the rotation the same with every visit so it is hit or miss to ID.

I just logged in 3 times in a row now with no issues. Maybe rectified?

I do as well. Balloons fall and it says I've won something. I close the window ASAP.

This could continue to be a great site but the interface is not mobile friendly at all. Very old software. Owner has no desire to update it. It's unfortunate for the admins.

This has been brought up and discussed many times over the years but it never gets upgraded. Some have offered to pitch in the costs. It's too bad, I rarely connect anymore due to the poor security and difficulty using over my phone.

My password manager doesn't even work here.
At least trapshooters.com is mobile friendly.

Well, yes I did. Uh...sorry.

I noticed they use the same forum software as genesisowners.com, which is quite mobile friendly. Other forums are supported by the TapaTalk app.

I do 99% of my forum reading on my cell phone now, which sadly can often be a couple hours a day.
