Which new ones, the 34s or the heavier 32s?

Read the subject line and its pretty clear the OP is looking for feedback on the 34". Do you even own either of those barrels? Just wondering. I have several friends who own the new 34" and all of them seem pleased. I have shot a dozen rounds with them and it seems to be a better balanced gun for me. It swings better and more what I would like a Krieghoff to be. Still wouldn't trade in my Blaser for one.

Rev, thank you for your insight.
I must try one. I hear nothing but positives, HOWEVER, you know how NEW gimmicks/fads are.

I’d trot this thread down the the Krieghoff section, where there is/has already been discussion on the topic.

I posed a SIMPLE query, and hoped and prayed for responses to my query, and nothing else. Seemed simple, but maybe IMPOSSIBLE here!

To the OP: sorry, missed "34" in the title, early and insufficient coffee.
However, you appear to be a j-a; so, I'll not bother further.

Edwin D. Do you currently shoot a Kriegoff with a different barrel or are you looking at potentially getting into a Kriegoff and trying to figure out what barrel set you might want?

Edwin D, Rooster nailed it by informing you of the five-page discussion on the Krieghoff 34's in the Krieghoff forum. Jacksback ( username) has very detailed information regarding weight distribution and handling aspects. I would point you there instead of a general forum. You seem adept enough to sort through what you term " pep rally" information.

Dave And for the kind of investment a barrel set or complete parcour gun configured that way will be, I would be inclined to try to test drive it in person if at all possible. My understanding is that many of the K gun dealers have some demo capability. Probably a part of what you pay for with the premium market experience. Someone elses experience may mirror yours but is probably as likely not to. I wish you luck though. Gun shopping is happy time....

I have them, love them, and have described my journey with them at some length in the Krieghoff section of this very site. If that seemed like a pep rally to you, then you never read the full thread and mwr01 is 100% correct in his assessment of you
