The Running Creek Ranch is presenting our premiere event on March 19th through the 21st. Located in the rolling hills of south Mississippi, the terrain lends itself to some fine technical target sets, without having to use all the spring, distance, or visual issues.

The Classic main event held Sunday, the 21st, is offering guaranteed cash pay outs of $10,250.00, regardless of the number of entries. A crystal cup trophy, belt buckle, and $1,500.00 is awaiting the HOA in the main. Each class winner will receive a check for $1,000.00,along with a custom belt buckle, and each concurrent winner will receive $250.00 and a belt buckle. Options will be available and there will be trappers on each station. All of this with only an $85.00 price tag. This is a shooters tournament!

On Friday and Saturday, there will be all 3 small gauges available, a prelim, and Hula event, and a fifty bird 5-stand. A Long Bird game will be thrown as well for ya'll to play with.

There is lodging available here at the ranch. UTV's will be available for rent and food will be available all weekend. Pre-registration can be done on Score Chaser.

There is a full page ad in Clay Target magazine for you to view. It is our goal to create a new premiere event for the NSCA shooters. Please come help us accomplish that with your presence at the Magnolia Classic.

If you need any assistance or have any questions, please give me a call and I'll be happy to help you! Hawk @ 325-206-2544, [email protected].

Is a hula event a FITASC event?

IIRC, I believe the hula event is shooting the “same” preliminary targets from an alternate stand (hula hoop).

Hula is as the name implies. A hula hoop is placed in a separate location and a different menu may be used, but it is run concurrently on the prelim course.

This weekend for the Breaking Target Blues event, the Hula will be all true pair.

It's time to focus on the Magnolia! Great targets, great terrain, great price, great food, and great money guaranteed to be paid out. What is there not to like about this shoot.

Ya'll get signed up on Score Chaser and help us make this one to remember!

It sure would be great to get to some warm weather and shoot your targets Hawk. Maybe next year it sure looks like a great shoot format and I know the food is always great. H2Oman

Wish you could be here for the 1st one. Especially since the Deuce was one of the inspirations behind it.

The weather is looking pretty great with highs in the 70's. Of course weathermen are right just a little more often than target setters. lol. But we are going to do our best and put on a good shoot for everyone that makes it out. No mater what, the cash is real and some folks are going to be taking it home.

Missed you today when I arrived but that blustery wind and my shorts did not agree!
Looking forward to tomorrow. Start time still about 9ish?

Weather was great for the Prelim today. I had a good round going until i had a knee malfuntion. It made the last four stations just a bit more of a challenge.

We shot the prelim in the AM; clouds made it very hard for some of us; that said, we shot the hula in the PM and the scores were a lot higher once the clouds broke and the temps warmed up a bit.

The main was a nice mix of targets from close and a tad tricky to some challenging curling long ones and even some shots over water. Didn't do quite as well in the main as I felt I should have, but that's fairly normal for most of us. Good shoot, good targets, great location and very nice hospitality.
If you're in this area, they do have some others coming up that should be worth checking out.
