Looking for suggestions for my daughter. She is shooting a beretta A300. Preferably one that is removable. Thanks

I bought a shell deflector off Amazon.com.
It is held on by two sided tape.

I recommend the Birchwood-Casey one: https://www.amazon.com/Birchwood-Casey- ... cat&sr=8-3

Some folks like the T&S ones, but I found that taking it on and off rubbed the finish off of my Remington 1100.

I have the Birchwood Casey on a Browning Gold. I don't like the way it works as well as the clip-on type I have on my 1100. The clip-on type is hard on the bluing, though.

When I bought the 1100 (used) it already had the finish rubbed off by the clip.

A rubber band works well. Looks kinda cheesy but won’t mar the finish on the receiver. Be sure to pack a couple extras in case of breakage.

A shooter at my club has a Beretta semi-auto. i'm not familiar with Beretta - but I think it may be an A400. IIRC it has a blue tinted receiver??? I found a double-sided tape catcher made for that gun. I bet it will fit the A300 too.

I have had a Birchwood-Casey double stick tape catcher on my Super-x 1 since it was new in the early '70s. The wire is removable for hunting. But I always removed it in the fall - didn't want that tape on a wet gun. Very good catcher - I'd say 99% It may fit other auto-loaders.

I could not find one for my Benelli Vinci so I modified a B-C catcher. The vertical pin no longer can be tipped down. But works great. The picture doesn't have the black wire sheath on it that I usually use. I think this could be a model for modification to fit other autos.

I have used the Birch wood casey shell catcher on all my auto clay guns for years. I have never had a problem with them. I use one on my Remi 1100 syntech for trap, no problems. Whats nice about the Birch wood is if you shoot doubles or hunt with the gun, you can flipthe wire catcher up out of the way.

Double sided tape stick on shell catcher, I had my doubts, but I put it on my Benelli, been about 1.5 years, never a problem yet while trap shooting, wire catch folds down or easily slides out of the taped on bracket, I remove the wire bracket for skeet. so I will say Im happy how good this works, never had to change extra piece of tape yet. all good.
I do like the Remington clip on style on my 1187, I have not found anyone that make for the Benelli and now stopped looking because the tape on works that well.
