No. T-Pee mentioned he was waiting on his Citori and while doing so he did some research that mentioned the 80% number. It's just interesting to me the those would be an "issue".

He’s saying of the .0000001% of the Citoris that ever have an issue, 80% of those few times it’s an extractor problem.

I think people using the wooly mop brass snap caps put undue strain on extractors. The extractors are designed to launch an empty hull that has little resistance.

In my opinion, ejector problems are not all that common on Browning Citori shotguns. However, ejector problems are quite common on the Browning Cynergy shotguns. The Cynergy ejectors are poorly designed, IMO.

Speaking of ejectors..... can ANY O/U that has ejectors be easily converted to extractors only?? Same question for SxS’s. Or is it a case of “ depends on brand / model “??

I opened up my Browning BSS to take a look. Very small but powerful springs running the ejector hammers. I decided to leave this one alone.

Seems like it differs with guns from what I have been finding out, For example a browning Citroi you can just replace the springs with 1911 spring ( under the browning forum on this site it explains the process on a pinned post) but for a Beretta there are a few ways none of which seem as simple and most involve machining (maybe a weaker spring would do it as well, but no info on people testing it, I might give it a go since I have a 687 that I would for now at least prefer it to extract.)
