Regardless what surgeons wear and what hazmat removal teams wear and what exterminators wear, it ain't what people at Costco were wearing this afternoon. It looked like a convention of dental assistants in those worthless little blue masks or people covering up with face diapers that aren't any better.
If you think wearing those types of masks protect you or anyone else, turn off your TV because you are just buying into the lying BS from the fearmongers.

I wear a cool stars and stripes skull face gaiter on occasion only because I don't feel like kicking someone's butt for not minding their own da**ed business. I also regularly carry and don't need to get into arguments with people.

A friend retired and moved to FL. Just talked to him and he said NO one wears a mask anywhere, all schools are open along with everything else. Strange how me living in MI and the Gov wants to close down damn near everything but FL has no more problems than we do. Same with SD, and many other states. It's more like the Democratic governors wanting to control your life.

At our club it's members only, no guests, social distancing in the lounge, face masks unless you are eating or drinking. The last wannabe "freedom fighter" who argued the mask rule with the cashier is now looking for a new club to shoot at. We won't miss him.

As long as the obey the rules, including those imposed by COVID, we still welcome guests at my home club.

Ben Avery CTC is a state run facility so it got hit with tons of regs regarding the Rona. Had to reserve a shoot time online, two rounds per hour block. Social distance, masks when not shooting. The hours didn’t change to winter hours this year meaning Monday and tuesdays they are still closed. Hours are still 7-3 when they are normally 7-7 in the winter.
And what sucks is that the next closest facilities to those in the central Phoenix area are almost 45 mins to the east but they only have one or two trap fields. After that it’s head down to Casa Grande or Prescott. After that it’s Tucson.
Having a state run facility is nice in the fact that good luck getting it shutdown by political forces but now it’s at the mercy of state rules. Phoenix Metro area desperately needs another privately run shotgun range like it used to have way back when.

Our club was shut down for a couple of months in March and April, then we re-opened allowed only 10 at the club at a time, this continued into mid-June, currently allowed up 20, depending on the regional conditions. When we are allowed only 10, we have to go to Members only on a pre-booked time. We had to cancel all but one shoot, including our annual Boxing Day Shoot which has run continuously for the past 70 years.

There's a new County-run trap/skeet/5-stand/rifle/pistol facility over the border in GA. No masks were required by anyone, until a shooter had Covid so now the office staff must wear one while inside the office; otherwise, folks shake hands, talk, whatever like normal

Our club was closed for a while when the lockdown began but opened to members only later on.
