Post subject:  interchangeable parts for a Stoeger 2000

I was thinking of trying to drill and tap my 2000 for a scope for deer hunting this year and the other weekend I was at Cabelas and looking around in the bargin cave, I found a few B-SQUARE scope mounts for a Benelli Montefeltro for $10 I looked at it and bought it. I got it home and just as I thought it fit like a glove! Now I just have to find a good scope for it! not a bad and easy buy. easy on easy off. I can got out duckin, and throw on the B-square mount and deer hunt the next day!

Peter you can adjust the drop on a Stoeger Model 2000 the same way you do a Benellie. You can use Benelli shims, however, only the plastic ones will fit and you have to cut the nipple off of them as well. You will probably have to enlarge the hole in the shim a little bit, easy to do just shave around it some with a pocket knife. This does not take long to do at all, I did my 2000.

Thought Id add to it and see if anyone came up with something else yet.
