Here's my baby. Somewhere around 30 cases through her without a hiccup. Recently she needed a tune up (more like the first real cleaning!), but she's back to chucking steel now.
I did the paint job 4 years ago and it's really held up through some serious ducking abuse. Although I think big fat lines are probably a more effective means of camo, I always think the thin ones look better!

I BOUGHT A 153 AND HAD IT PUT AWAY FOR A LONG TIME, THEN I STARTED SHOOTING SKEET, 12 gauge 1 1/8 OUNCE #8. THE GUYS AT THE RANGE SAY I AM A PRETTY GOOD SHOT, AND I WAS THINKING OF BUYING A BERETTA O/U, BUT MY 153 WORK PERFECT. I HAD NO IDEA OF A BAIKAL WHEN I BOUGHT IT. MY FRIEND OWNS A GUN SHOP AND HE SAID IT WAS A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY AND I TOOK HIS WORD FOR IT. WELL I THINK BAIKAL HAS DONE A GREAT JOB ON THIS UNIT AND YOU DEFINATLY HAVE TO AGREE THAT YOU DONT ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. THIS THING WORKS LIKE A CHAMP, WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY. LATER.

The parts to convert a synthetic to wooden are there.
I believe part number: 79 thru 83 should make up the wooden stock. The wooden forend is #75.
Dont know if there is any fitting to do as I havent seen anyone attempt this yet.
The parts on the diagram that I want are 8,9, and 10.

Finally bought a MP 153 and have just unboxed it and put it together, will have to go out tomorrow and buy some stuff to clean it. 24 inch barrel and a Walnut stock. The bead on this thing is sooo tiny, when i first shouldered it i didn't even see it. That will be replaced very quickly. Andre

Produced by Russian firm Baikal mp 153 model is really very high quality semi-automatic shotguns
reliable quality-sound-
Though I do not like semi-automatic rifle can be used in duck hunting turkeys and pigs think it is a hunting rifle.

Guys; Iknow this is a picture thread but i need help. I have an mp 153. and i need to know where to get some parts. I have had the gun since 2005 but cannot fing the owners manual. I need to find a dealer to get some parts for the fore arm. two little plastic peices that go on the forarm and aroung the mag tube, i also believe there is a small spring on the front. if anyone can help me out i would be forever in your debt..
