I just recieved word the Baikal line is back with EAA. Great news.
Note from EAA Admin:

I got the same message from USSG as well, seems they are both the same company?

Yes, USSG is a part of EAA. They are for the most part the same company.

USSG shows the guns on their web site with new model numbers. everything looked pretty much the same except for the 9lb weight. i wonder if there is a little metric conversion problem or they are listing shipping weight.

The one thing I noticed is that the fancier IZH18 is not listed (nickel receiver, ventilated barrel, monte carlo stock - AKA Sporting I think).

I didn't know the news was so new. Just seen one of the new ones at a gun show recently. Vendor was selling new 12 & 20 spr310's, then showed me the new Baikal 12 with a ported barrel. If I remember correctly it was listed at $490.

I ordered a couple of chokes for my 16 310 and was surprised at how fast they arrived. Thursday to Monday.

I see Baikal MP27 looks just like the IZH27 being offered at gander mtn. anybody know who is importing them?

This thread is 6+ yrs old, I don't know that anyone is importing them now, but then again, I don't follow them that closely

I know its an old post, the gander mtn site says "new" so somebody is importing them

I understand what you are saying but they have 3 models in stock as a new item, so there is a way they are getting here.

Not necessarily. I suspect that these are NOS (New Old Stock) that someone found in a corner since the choices available aren't what would likely be ordered if they were available for import again.

It doesn't seem that they are in stock: you'll note "Ships from vendor" is right there in the description.
