Need the group's opinion. Looking at a Magnus Sporting and it has wear/flaking on the receiver face. Finish on the rest of the gun looks great, I'd say 95-98% condition. I suspect the wear is from a high round count but thought I'd ask if there is a known problem with Guerini's finish on the "bolt" face of these guns. Sorry no photos available.

I don't know, but here is a suggestion. If you really like/want the gun, and the current owner is the original owner, make an offer contingent on the owner sending it into CG for a pitstop, and it coming back from the pitstop in shootable condition. MAJ
