advice: 690 or 686 sp sporting

I can get a good deal on a 690 30'' a reduction of 1 000$. The gun is new.
Temptation is great to go for it instead of the 686 (both at the same price).

So the question is with the fix by Beretta of the loctite on the top tang screw is the gun holding up or it is just a question of time before it will break?

Trickster you seems to know them pretty well any idea?

I do not have a 690 or any experience with them. I have read on this forum that if you go ahead and replace the screws with the upgraded ones you will be fine. At the same price I think I would pick the 690.
