Today I shot my 2nd game of wobble trap. Now if you are a trapshooter that does not know humility, wobble will teach you. It has a tendency to throw this straight bird almost parallel to the ground. you really have to get under and ahead of that one, and it can startle you when it comes out. Almost like a rabbit in sporting clays.

That's what makes it so fun along with the extreme angles and increased speed. You have to have your hold point right on top of the house to be ready for those Daisy cutters every time but then that forces you to chase those high birds harder.

But remember , that target can't out run the shot cloud , even at the point of it hitting the ground ! Keep your head down with a sharp focus and be ready , this is something I keep telling myself !

When the guys want to shoot wobble trap I try to sneak out and set the machine on hole #5. This really opens up the angles. Adds a little to the game.

We always play that you can double tap a miss. Surprisingly most targets are hit about half the time with the second shot.

I shot 50 wobble targets for the first time Thurs night. Got 45 out of the 50 so I was pretty pleased. I'm sure I'll be shooting it again. It was kind of like sporting clays.

At another local cub they shoot 16yd line, one shot, 20yd line, two shots. I find it easier to use my SCs gun that shoots flat.

Well we play "miss and out" by shooting Wobble from the 27 , it gets really interesting in the shoot-offs as they're from the 35 yd line , $3 buy in can sometimes pay for your shells !
