I picked up a 28ga M37 used a few months back.

Had a little trouble feeding shells but think I got it worked out. I found a small burr on the top extractor (and the spring seems kinda weak), and filed it lightly and it seems to be pumping shells out fine (I kept some of the empties I was having issues with to test).

I was using Winchester AA shells. Wanting to take it out soon again and hoping it's all good.

I've had trouble with Rio's in my M37 12 ga. I feeds most "American" shells fine-Winchesters, Remingtons, Federals. I mainly shoot Remington shells in my 12 ga (not the STS ones).

Remington STSs but I don't shoot it all that much. No issues with malfunctions.

I've used all sorts. Mostly Winchester. Shot some older Remington's at upland game. No issues at all.

Sounds like you hopefully found the problem.

Well I'll probably head to the Sporting Clays range and try it out. I'll take a back up gun, but hopefully won't need it.

Rio's seem to work okay for me too, but I've only tried a couple of boxes. I'll bet yours will be fine now that you knocked that burr off.

I’ve been using Fiocchi’s for the last couple years, no issues.
