I just bought a new..never shot..3200 trap. What are the chances Of finding a skeet barrel for it...I shoot both.. Gun now has 50 shells thru it. Secondly, all I've heard is..you can't find parts from folks at range..What fails on this gun, commonly ?

Loose 3200 barrels are fairly uncommon. You will likely wait multiple years before you find the barrel you want.
Contact Laibs, they are pretty much the sole remaining source for Remington 3200 parts in the country, and one of the last handful of gunsmiths who can or will work on a 3200.

The most often broken part is the hammer plungers. It is best to buy them as hammer plunger assemblies, because they can be difficult to put to put together, although they fall apart easily when the hammer plunger breaks. Laib's made up a bunch of them at some point and is the only supplier I know of. These parts are the ones identified as part 49 and 50 on this link: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufa ... s-rem/3200..

i owned 2 3200's at one time, skeet and trap. The barrels would not interchange it seems to mono blocks were closely fitted to the receiver. One block was too wide and the other too narrow. Finding another barrel set won't guarantee that it will fit your receiver.
