Attachment: DSC01166_edit_Fotor.jpg ~ October Ringnecks ~ Bird hunted this morning with some friends and we took some pheasants and two chukar partridge. I arranged and photographed this still-life after the hunt. Will be making a stew for bird camp tomorrow to share with friends. T 'was a beautiful day for our hunt today, the New England foliage was brilliant and the dogs worked the birds with grand style. Cheers, Mike

Irishwhistler, Mike great picture and fantastic hunt, love the October hunting. Returned from the UP yesterday, bunner of a hunt, way too many people, and bad weather. The new Gordon pup did great and learned a lot! Pine Creek/Dave L.C. Smith Man

Love the pics, good on the new pup as well. Weather has been warm here as well, we were changing out dogs every 20 minutes last week. Good thing is we had 16 dogs and four new pups in training to keep the rotation going.

Tex68W, Real nice picture of your Texas gun Dog training rig! I sure understand the hot weather in Texas, spent some time on Ft Hood, TX. At that time we had lots of wild Quail, and rotated the dog when it got hot like you do. We only trained about 6 at a time, worked out real well. Here in Pa, we usually do not have to much of a problem with the overly hot weather. Wish we still had our Pa Mountain Quail to hunt, unfortunately they became extinct in the late 1800's. Foolish game management during that era in Pa. Enjoyed the picture and the memories. Pine Creek/Dave L.C. Smith Man
