Am currently looking at buying a Cynergy, the 500.00 dollar offer for the cynergy club, isn't going to make or break the sale, but in looking at the stipulations, it says you are only qualified when purchasing a cynergy @ RETAIL price and you must show proof... my question is, who the heck pays RETAIL ...

Where do you guys think this Cynergy thing is going? It makes me wonder since they are offering all of this free stuff to get people to buy them. I was going to buy a Cynergy classic trap combo and could not find one so I got a Etchens SP II combo. After all of the thinking and listening to everyones comments I am glad I went the rout I did. I even called Browning to see when they would be available and they said June or July. I could not wait that long. You would think if they were trying to push a product you would have some available to sale.

I bought my Cynergy Sporting for >50% off retail. The gun just has to be new.

I got the $100 in less than 2 weeks. I haven't seen the stuff yet and it's been 10 weeks.

From the Browning site:

Thanks for the replies guys... I too kind of wonder where Browning is going with the Cynergy. They seem to be pushing them pretty hard... I am torn between a Cynergy and a 625. My dad and I went to Cabellas on Saturday and handled both, we both like the look and feel of the 625 better, but feel the Cynergy, mechanically is a better design, not to mention 1K cheaper than the 625..... Decisions decisions..... :?

chris288,
Which Cynergy and which 625? They list for about the same price.

ftopshe,
I got mine from CDNN(click here). When I looked up the serial number, I saw that it was manufactured in 2005. So, it sat on the shelf for about three years. That may be why it was so inexpensive. I also made a compromise to get the price. I wanted a 30" barrel, but they were out so, I settled on a 32".

I wasn't disappointed with my decision. I've broken a couple of 25s and usually get at least 23.

I think ultimately it comes down to which school do you belong to; 625=Old School, Cynergy=New School.

I just can't get past the looks of the Cynergy. Given the choice of a 625 or a Cynergy, I'd be all over the 625. As far as the engineering is concerned, you'll never shoot either one out.

Flopshe:

I bought mine from Whittaker Firearms when they clearanced their 3.5" 12 gauge Cynergy Classic Fields for $999.99. This was about 6-8 weeks ago. With the $100.00 rebate from Browning, a new Cynergy for $899.99 isn't bad.

They currently list Citori Satin Lightning 12 gauges for $1099.99 on clearance.

Browning 625 sporting or Cynergy Sporting. I would get the gun thats fit you the best. Both guns are great. I my self like the Cynergy.
I would be very happy with the new 625. A great feeling gun. Go to Davis Sport Shop and they have both. Check then out.
Sunday my wife my come with me to shoot some Sporting Clays and I'll have both Cynergy's and my Beretta.

I don't think that there's any way that the cynergy is being phased out...they seem to just be catching on, the cynergy club certainly isn't hurting this either. I know that about half the guys on the team up here are shooting one of the sporting models, either the synthetic or wood versions. It took me awhile to get over the looks of the gun, but as soon as i got mine and shot it i began thinking that it was the most beautiful shotgun in the world. I also think that it has to be one of the lightest recoiling over and unders on the market, I know that I've never shot a light recoiling fixed breech gun. The cynergy gets my vote but they are both great guns.

John, lets hope the rain and snow hold off for us on Sunday... ( wheres the keeping your fingers crossed smiley )

Anyway, I like the look and feel of the 625 a bit better, but we think the cynergy is a better more up to date design, plus it's 1K less. I'm a tad bit recoil sensitive, so thats another plus for the Cynergy, were just having trouble getting past the looks compared to the 625... So I keep asking my dad do you want to shoot good or look good ???

choices, choices.
Tell me about it.... then there is the 30" vs. 32" debate... The 30's on my S.E. don't feel whippy at all, though I do feel the 32's swing a bit smoother, but they sure do look awfully LOOOOONG....

I got the 32" and it seems a little barrel heavy to me. If I had it to do again, I would get the 30".
