does anyone or has anyone ever made a 20 gauge auto for my girlfriend to start shooting with me? I have contemplated a Benelli 20 o/u with a recoil pad, but she seems to want an auto! Any help would be appreciated!

ALONG TIME AGO in a galaxy far far away remington made a FEW 1100 20 gauge semi's but they are far and few between. just keep looking on guns america and gun broker you will eventualy get lucky and find one and pay an arm and a leg for one. i have a 20 gauge 870 wing master and i paid 750.00 for it in mint condition. GOOD LUCK!!! i waited 2 long years to find mine.

I have been searching everywhere for a LH 20 g auto. So far I have been unable to find any. Benelli makes several 12 g models, but apparently they don't make a 20 g. I wonder what it would take for Benelli to take a step toward making the 20g for us lefties. Hope your luck is better than mine.

OOMod, LH autos in 20 ga. are very scare as are Benelli O/U's

Many of lefties shoot so called right handed auto's with NO problem. Most all of the newer Auto's come with shims and spacers to adjust the cast & drop for a lefty. I would also encourage you to consider a 12 ga. in lieu of the 20 ga.

Most 12 ga. guns will weigh a LITTLE more than the typcial 20 ga. and this will help with recoil. One can easily find 1 oz. 12 ga. shotshells in the 1100 to 1150 fps range that are very pleasant to shoot and in alot of cases more pleasant than they typical 20ga.

Good Luck,

oo modd yes im talking about an 1100 remington lefty 20 gauge they made them for a very short period and they are SUPER hard to find. like i said ive got a 20 gauge wingmaster i think its a late 70s to early 80s fixed choke vent rib model. everytime i would come across a 20 gauge 1100 i didnt have enough money at the time so ive kinda gave up. keep looking you will find one

I have reversed the safties on 2 Rem 11 and one sweet 16 as the safties are what bother me most. I believe you can reverse the safties on all Benelli's and most of the the Beretta's. With the shims on the stock you can make them almost LH.
I called Benelli last year and they said they did not have many requests for a LH 20. I told them I would buy one.
I shoot an LH m-2 and sold my LH Montefeltro in a moment of stupidity but plan on buying another one.
