I enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with sticks.

Love it! I burst out laughing when I read it.

Thanks. The full quote is a lot longer and wouldn't fit in the sigline box.

So I'll be serious now and not mention Sic :p

for the overal forum 2 persons come to mind. drsfmd and Rastoff... Rastoff because of his knowledge and he was nice to me when I first started posting here when others weren't so cordial....

drsfmd -- maybe not the most cordial.. but I like his tough love approach to cheap shotgun discussions and he has been spot on when talking about what guns we should avoid and what ones we should give a look at...

There doesn't seem to be someone in the hunting forums that has a very good overall (geographically) knowledge of hunting... There is quite a bit of knowledge in the hunting forums... Just not one particular person, in my opinion that sticks out... That's significant for me since I only clay target shoot to better my hunting skills... I am mainly a hunter... There is a lot of knowledge of pheasants.. But, I live in Arizona.. That doesn't necessarily help me...

Too hard to pick just one ....

dovehunter, dlm, bp, drsfmd, goatskin, worc, ev, gbottger, researcher, curly-nohair, and probably a bunch I'm forgetting .... I also enjoyed reading what was on Case's mind too.

Geez, I'm embarrassed

I'm astounded anyone would even mention me or know me for that matter. Thanks guys...

My favorites.....

HiFli.....My best buddy here.

drsfmd....You can always get a straight and knowledgeable answer from him and he is not condescending to guys whose enthusiasm far outweighs their knowledge.

Stratoliner....For all the work he has done to make the "Huglu Forum" a fun and happy place.

Ev Butler....For a very kind PM he sent me when I was new here....Thanks Ev!

SuperXOne....For the most fun I have ever had in a single thread....Super, I want to hear more of your civil war stories.

Jay....For making this place possible

ALL my friends from the old DeHaan Forum....HiFli, CTS, Moose, BPGuy, and many more...Great guys all!

Lots of good guys/gals here
#1 for me has to be Seamus, the manual he composed on the 391 is a MUST for a 391 shooter. Beretta should buy the rights from him and publish it, and supply with their guns.
#2 - Worc, his overall knowledge of the autoloading shotguns is a valuable tool.
#3 - TexasTon, THE Super X1 guru
#4 - Sera, Perazzi guru and general counsel
#5 - Dave Holmes - doesnt post alot, but when he does he usually has something valuable to add.

Many many others that I classify as my BS buddies, they know who they are, THANKS for the comic relief

ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!!!
I read on SGW almost everyday. I enjoy the information and opinions from nearly everyone on here. There is such a wealth of knowledge and seems to be a whole lotta common sense to a lot of different things.
It's like an ATM for shotgun related information with the exception that it doesn't run out unlike my personal ATM.

For those who gave me a Mention in Despatches ...thank you.

For those who didn't ... shove it where the monkey put the nuts!!

In no particular order, BP (don't agree with a word he says so we get along fine) Paul F, Seamus, Chaco, and Hudlow (always splits my sides). Rastoff, drsfmd, Ev, SuperXOne, all good eggs.

Eug

I have gotten so much good info, and been treated so well, by everyone that has answered one of my posts. I couldn't pick just one... or five for that matter. I guess I have spoken with EV and Rastoff more than anyone here. I wouldn't trade this site for any one the net. I have a lot of people here I consider my friends.

Some of my favorites would include:

Eugene aka Eug
FullerNFuller
BugDoc
Researcher

and, of course, Worc. I would also put 01Lariet in there, too. Maybe BigShooter as well.

To post a link, just type it into the post and it will show up. Like this:

I give that a double here here...

Is that a here here here here?

First, a big ol' thank you to Jay, from one that goes a bit off the reservation at times.
The boys in the political forum come to mind. DC is a wallet full of common sence and not a bad sort for a lawyer.
Ezra is as consistant as a clock.
Hudlow is a crack up.
Rastoff is always worth the read.
EV has a heart as big as a bucket.
Emerson is one that knows that as a Christian, the milk of human kindness cannt run low fat in his veins.

We even have a couple of honest liberals, J Bagley and SBoker.
Drsfmd is better than anyone for putting pikers on the right road to QUALITY, even if he is one of those bruske NY types.
So many others! I'm just proud to be here and amungst em.
