Algonquin: Sorry for such slow response... didn't mean to be rude. I had lost track of this thread.

I don't know the build date. S/N is 384XXX. The barrels are marked 1620EL No. 18, so I'd guess it's an older one. It's a great shooter; I've shot as well or better at S/C as with any gun I own. Recoil is no issue despite the weight, though I use a strap on pad to give more LOP. This one will get a leather covered pad at some point. Happy New Year!
