Chris
Thanks for the up date, I will pray for him and I am so sorry for his loss.
I will pray for you also as I know what it is like watching a friend go through so much.
I talked to my friend 7 days before he went on to his next life and it is hard.

Hope I see you at the masters.
Allen

we'll keep him in Gods hands with prayer. go, have a good time. if you can bring him, do so.
but God is on the throne and knows him better than us. he'll know whats right.
be at peace.
shoot well.

Dallas ,Donnie is a great guy and it has been very sad to hear Chris's reports. I have not spoken to Donnie personally since he had gotten ill. I did shoot a little with him and his grandson before he got sick and he was getting his grandson interested in shooting and was proud of how he was coming along. Lets hope and pray he gets better and gets to work with him again. The treatments have affected his vision and he has trouble reading emails and other stuff on the computer. A bunch of the guys from one of my clubs sent him a card a few weeks ago and I hear he really enjoyed getting it. Keep fighting Donnie.

I had hoped to never have to make this post so here goes.

Donnie has had some serious set backs. God is going to call him home very soon barring a miracle. Please pray for him and his family.

No better friend and trust worthy person have I ever met. I love Donnie. Like a brother. He filled a gap as I never had one. Life is full of ups and downs......losing a friend like him leaves a gap that can never be filled. Skeet will never be the same for me again although he would have wanted me to carry on. Skeet gave me this wonderful guy to share time with. I will SO miss it. Not much more that I can add .......I am just numb at this moment.

Chris - I also am very sorry for Donnie and all of his family and friends. He is in my thoughts and prayers also.

As for you feeling numb, this is understandable but I absolutely know you will stand up on the line and help his family in their time of need as a true friend, such as yourself, must do.

Glad to meet you this past weekend. I am very sorry to here the news. I know much to well how you feel as I just lost a friend and squad mate in febuary. Talk to him every day you can, I talked to Hank days before he went on to his next life and it means so much to me that I did. I will pray for everyone and if I can help with a memorial maker that you may want to put at a skeet field or club let me know. I can donate most of it and again I am so sorry.

Chris, I know Donnie would want you to continue on. It is gonna be hard I know. I lost 3 good friends and shooting buddies last year and hardly a day or week goes by that I don't think of them and you knew 2 of them yourself. Joe K and Bill M and old J R they all loved shooting and being around their friends. I always thought the world of all them, but we have memories of the good times and that keeps us going in our own lives. Stay strong !!!

Donnie (Eyemissum)passed this morning at 11:00 am. He passed peacefully.

Donnie ended up with 8312 post here over the last 8 years.

Part of his ashes are to be fired across a skeet field.........

We had some good talks this week. He was a skeet shooter till the end. I hope he will nudge me when I get mad at myself when shooting poorly. He had a way of helping me.

Godspeed Donnie.......I'll never forget you and you will always be with me.
