Hi everybody,
so Ive been searching forums everywhere and cant seem to get a deffinent answer, so I have a benelli supernova with a 28" barrel for waterfowl hunting; what I was wondering is if I can shoot slugs through it. Is it safe? what do I use? I certainly don't want to ruin my gun so any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance.

This question is asked and answered multiple times through out the forums. Yes, you can use certain slugs and it is safe.

Use an improved cylinder choke and Foster style slugs with the smooth barrel. Try a couple of boxes of different brands of 2-3/4 and 3" slugs to see which patterns best with your gun. Do not use the sabot slugs unless you have a rifled barrel.

as to your other question, it varies day to day as to when posts are approved, there is no set time
