I realize this is an older thread, but I just got around to reading it and find it informative and interesting.

I've owned an Abercrombie and Fitch, Zoli-Rizzini O/U .410 for over forty years and love it. It's wonderfully balanced and a sweet gun to shoot. I'm not good enough to use it on opening day of dove season but it does come out after a few days of shooting.

Thanks, Seamus, for the research and for posting it for us to read.

Update that's a bit overdue time wise is that a Verona Corp., now owned by Legacy Sports International, is back in business. Don't know how it is connected (if it is at all) with the old Verona. The new Verona is selling F.A.I.R. O/U guns (again) and also Fausti made SxS guns. F. Lli Pietta is the maker of the new company's semi-auto's.

Very well written and informative article.

There are a lot of people out there who don't know much about all the Rizzinis, and some people even have never heard of a Rizzini gun. I've seen confused gun dealers trying to sell E. Rizzini guns with B. Rizzini prices before  They need to read this article for sure.

Can you tell me anything about my O/U that have Rizzini Marcheno B.T. on the barrels both guns are double trigger and have sling mounts on the barrel and stock. I have a 20 & 12 and can't find anything on them. Thanks for your help.

Shotgun Shopping suggestions: You will find a large number of Rizzini Shotguns listed on
Gunsinternational.com.....also listings for Verona Shotguns.....prices are reasonable and there seems to be a good selection....good used shotgun value.

I own FAIR O/U shotguns in 16 ga, 20ga, and 28ga....models 500, 600 and 900. Main difference seems to be the level of engraving....all were imported by New England Arms of Kittery, Maine (no longer in business)...all their stock went to Cabelas and most were sold but some may be in inventory.

I am happy with my FAIR shotguns....good quality....no problems even after volume shooting!

LOL just discovered this thread after purchasing a ca. 2003 99% SIG B Rizzini Aurora TT25. Wow, and I thought this intrigue existed only in Italian operas….amazing tea-table gossip stuff, with the strangest part being that it's all true!

Many thank for the illumination! Makes me wish I still rode a Moto Guzzi….

2014 update: If I have followed the genealogy of the Rizzini line, B. Rizzini shotguns are now imported by one of Christensen Arms former chief gun smiths. He has his own shop now and is located in Gunnison, Utah -- just down the road from me. I haven't seen one in any of my LGS or chains (Scheels or Cabelas) but I am still looking. I might have to take a little trip to Gunnison if I can't find one soon to examine.

Correct.
The new B. Rizzini USA outlet is John Mogle of Rizzini-USA, Hunting Illustrated and Fierce Arms.
I got my BR550E in 444 Marlin from them.
Cabelas is now the supplier of Sabatti shotguns and double rifles.

I just picked up a B. Rizzini round body in 28 gauge, used. A sweet feeling baby frame o/u. Can't wait to get a few sporting clays in before dove season starts. Sold a Benelli Legacy to get this one. Legacy carries easily and fine on going away birds but found it was "whippy" on crossers. I tended to get too much in front then often stopping the gun causing more misses than I wanted. The Rizzini is also light but feels better between the hands. I'm optimistic it will be the right bird gun for me, will find out soon.

Just as a follow up I shot the b. Rizzini at registered targets today. Actually beat my 12 gauge score on the 2nd 100. I won't shoot clays anymore with it, but was test driving it as it was on a three day trial. Gonna keep it. Had a learning curve on crossers, but really smoked everything else. At 5lb. 11oz. It's going to be a great carry gun for me as I'm approaching 70 years of age. Despite my 235# frame, it punished me more than the 12 Ga. Perazzi. Leather butt pad might be in order...I've got a 20 gauge LC Smith in top condition made in 1928 I'd like to sell to help on my purchase. 26" with most of case color still in place. I hunted quail once and don't think I missed a bird with it. It's in such good shape I didn't want to shoot it much. Should sell quick for $2,000.

I recently purchased a Rizzini over and under shotgun. On one side it is marked Rizzini Model SL-55 20 GA 3" Magnum Made in Italy. On the other side it is marked Incor Inc Addison TX. I can not find any information about this model. Can you tell me anything about it or what it might be worth?

'bout time for an update by somebody who knows the current lay of the land. It's my understanding that both Caesar Guerini and RFM also have family ties to the Rizzini clan. Also that Fierce continue to import B. Rizzini although Gordy & Son (very high end Houston sporting goods retailer) may have some kind of direct relationship with that firm. But Rizzini-world is sufficiently multi-faceted that after 17 years an update from someone knowledgeable would be interesting.

Nothing has changed from what Seamus wrote.

F.lli Rizzini make only high quality, custom made shotguns and rifles.

B. Rizzini produces the guns imported to the US by Rizzini USA, and previously by Sigarms (Sig Rizzini and Sigarms SA5)

I. Rizzini is better known as F.A.I.R., and makes guns sold under that name and also made the O/U guns sold under the Verona name.

E. Rizzini was formerly an independent company, but the E. Rizzini line of guns is now produced by the firm of Fausti Stefano.

Thanks for resurrecting Seamus’ thread. He was a good egg.
