The .410 and 28 gauge are useless. Especially the .410. Why even bother with these gauges? The 20 gauge is light and far superior than those other two. Also, why would you bother with a 16 gauge? Most of the 16 gauges are built onto a 12 gauge frame to begin with. The 10 gauge is also useless. I would love to see these gauges become extinct. I can't wait till the WSSM and WSM take over the other calibers which are inferior. I have a whole list of inferior rifle rounds that should not be made anymore The WSSMs and WSMs (the 7mm was ruined though) are certainly here to stay. It's too bad they screwed the 7mm WSM. Since, the 7mm WSM has a shorter neck they can't efficiently shoot 175 grain bullets. The shorter neck is what reduced the popularity of the 7mm WSM which is too bad. It was the flattest shooter out of the WSM's. Wake up people, there's a revolution going around.

"Variety is the spice of life".

There are so many other things to worry about in life instead of trying to ruin someone else's enjoyment of those gauges that don't fit your pallete.

OR don't feed the trolls.

If we had less rounds we could get them real cheap. That's why we should discard the crap.

The only crap I see is in this topic. What constitutes an inferior rifle round, is the .22 LR inferior, and what about the .30-06 and .30-30, both some of the oldest and popular deer-getters in use today? I agree their are better cartridges, but these are classic rounds which should be appreciated for the enduring success.

To the original "guest":

Are you capable of earning as much money as Bill Gates, or leading a nation like George W. Bush?

No?

Then you are inferior and should be eliminated.

Bang!

To original "Guest" poster,

Gee, with all that superior knowledge that you possess, surely you should register on this site and get the credit for all the wisdom you are spreading around. After all, it isn't every day that we encounter someone with your depth of knowledge and wisdom.

My point is there are too many calibers. It's ridiculous.

Both of the .22 rimfires are replaced by the 17 M2 and the 17HMR. The 30-30 is crap. This round has been replaced long ago by the .308. The 25 WSSM replaces standouts like the 7mm-08. Oops,it's time for me to go to bed. It's a school night and my mommy says I need my sleep.

Hey, like you could make that much money otherwise you wouldn't be pissed off about the new rounds replacing the old. You can't afford to buy another gun chambered in the new rounds while Bill Gates could buy all the guns in the world.

Try reloading, then it won't matter. You'll be making yourself the lowest cost ammo you can get.
Why don't you reload your old rounds that you like so much.

Well since I am an "inferior" hunter compared to your way of thinking. I am going to get rid of my Marlin 336 and my two .22 LR rifles and study your ways and benefit everyone in the woods this year.

Well, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of how uninformed and baseless it might be.

To be honest I'm happy with all my guns that are chambered in "inferior" rounds. He guest if you've got any guns in those "inferior rounds and want to get rid of them I guess I could take them off your hands.

Kinda funny that those "inferior rounds" out sale the others?
 As for the new.17: I can buy a brick of 500 .22's or one box of 50 .17's for the same price. Like I'm gonna sell all my .22's and replace them with a .17, donnt think so!!

Our friend, the brilliant know-it-all Guest, has it all wrong again, as usual! Our problem is we don't have enough! We need a 13 gauge, a 25 gauge, a .415 bore and I could go on and on! Some folks like chocolate too! I'd guess you think a 12 gauge is purt'near't perfect! Great! I've got a couple I'd like to sell!
