The picture of the dead deer is a fake. I've been hunting deer for 35 years and have killed over 200 of them. I've taken them with everything from .22 rimfires to slugs to arrows and I don't care what you shoot them with, there WILL be bruising/bloodshot meat around the wound..
I would tend to agree about the pic not looking right. Unless the deer were already dead, where is the bruising, swelling, blood under that sticky, slimey covering?
