I've been using mostly 28 gauge 3/4 oz loads for skeet practice. I've been toying with buying a set of 410 tubes, but in order to sort of ease into it, I've wondered if there might be a 5/8 oz 28 gauge load out there. I've got a bunch of AAHS hulls and wads which I've been loading with 3/4 oz and Longshot. The case is pretty full, even with it. I wondered if Univeral or Unique might work well with 5/8 oz, but have never seen it listed. Suggestions? Thanks! :D

Seems like I did see a few 5/8 oz loads listed somewhere. I don't recall where just this minute. The experimenter I am, I wouldn't be afraid to try some myself using a recipe for 3/4 oz and lightning the shot charge. Using a wad and powder combination that seemed to fit the hull well. Might need a piece of styrofoam on the bottom of the shot charge to get it to all fit, but If I really wanted them, I'd figure out a way. Might even be able to find one in one of my many loading booklets too. If I find something, I'll let you know!

Good suggestion R-Mstr, but all I've got is skeet chokes for my 28 gauge tubes. I thought about buying some tighter ones to use for 5-stand but Briley wants a mint for them ($45 each). I guess I can just skip a few meals.
