New guy from south central PA! I shoot IDPA, USPSA, steel matches and 3 gun. Last year my nephew started working sporting clays matches. He was only 14 so of course I had to drive him to the club. We'll I watched a match and the next month I brought along my mossberg 930 I use for 3 gun. Well I didn't do very well but I had a blast :D

My buddy is not longer shooting trap so he gave me his Mec 9000 and sold me a Huglu 101 trap for $450. So now I am getting set up to reload and will probably start shooting other sports as well.

I've been lurking here for a while just reading and soaking in the info ~ great forum!!!

Thanks guys~

Rollin I noticed the "Stock Fitter's Bible" footnote on your quote. I need to have some work done to get the stock on my Huglu trap to get it to fit me. I just couldn't pass up the deal to buy that gun to get me started in the shotgunning sports. I read a few of your posts and it appears you may have some stockfitting information for sale. I thought I would mention here first before I email you.

I have some experience in woodworking so I am going to shorten the LOP and lower the comb.

I would gladly send you a few $$ for some insight and time saving thoughts.

Thanks
Kevin

Kevin,

Thanks for your interest in the book. I stopped shipping them a couple of years ago because http://www.amazon.com was doing such a good job selling them from their book section or, just type Stock Fitter's Bible in Amazon's search box and it will bring up the book along with a bunch of reviews.

Emailing back and forth will not work for stock fitting because stock dimensions are interrelated. Change one and another is likely to be affected. When you add shooting form to the equation involving shooter size/shape and stock dimensions, the water gets even muddier.

Neither my email address or phone number are in the book; if you have any questions, feel free to email me at rollin@stockfitting.com or call me at 920-464-0124 (cell - Wisconsin), anytime.

Are you going to schedule it after Thursday night pool league? If you are, let me know and I'll find out if Leroy is out on parole yet. The timing would be good; the tables have just had new felt applied so they are clean again.
