I like the standard -- mine weighs 9 lbs even with 32" barrels and a lengthened stock (15-½" LOP) with ISIS recoil device. I have shot several Parcours models and like them too. One buddy's weighs 8-4, wqith no added weight, but *most* of the guys I know that shoot the Par, add some weight (about 3 or 4 oz worth) under the forearm.

It's really personal preference. The standard has the tapered flat rib with a slight ramp and weight can be removed pretty easily with back boring and wood balancing if needed. The parcours has a true flat rib and weight can be easily added in several areas. Same virtually bullet-proof receiver.

I tried a K-80 Sporter as well as a Pro-Skeet with the adjustable rib and ended up getting the Pro-Skeet. Only difference between it and the Pro-Sporter are the stock dimensions and you can get the Pro-Sporter in a Right hand model with a cast for a right hand shooter. I liked the heavier gun, but then I started out shooting clays with a Remington 3200.

I shoot K-80 fixed rib Sporter - excellent balance, paintability, and low(er) recoil. I switched from other comparable brand and I feel like I picked up 10 more birds since. I also shot Parcours with and without ISIS anti-recoil device, it was much livelier but lighter as well, too light for my taste. I'd say, try all three (Sporter, Pro Sporter, and Parcours) to see which is the best for your style of shooting.

Goefer,
At "most" of the big shoots, Krieghoff usually has their trailer/vendor set-up.
Go in, tell them your intentions and i'm sure they will help you. Maybe Dupont/Krieghoff
will also be there?(help Rollins!!)
Krieghoff is also a PSCA sponsor. Call the Side X Side Ranch in Wynnewood, Oklahoma
for vendor details.
If all else fails, look me up. I am shooting a parcour now, but my "old" gun is a regular
sporter. Love the fixed chokes, but now my dad has nothing to do!

see you there,
K80

Well, except for umbrella holding and golf cart driving.

I thought I saw you with an F3, no?

I have been shooting Krieghoffs since 69 and been thru everything but the high rib ones. I was shooting a standard 32" sporter and loved it. Had a dealer send me a Parcours for a week and sent it back as being too light then shot 2 more a few weeks later with same results. A friend bought a new Parcours with custom stock and it felt great. We weighed it at 8# 5oz and the game was on. Krieghoff has weights for the stock and for the barrel so you can get any balance point you want.
Best I have ever shot of all the shotguns. IMHO

PS I saw Rollins stock at Caribbean Cup and pictures do not do it justice. :)

Ga. Skeet, any idea where you can buy the balance system for the K-80? I found the barrel weights for the parcours, but only international distributors for the stock system, who sells those in the US?
Call Robert Paxton, he will take care of you. He convinced me to try a Parcours when I was really looking for an MX2000. I took his demo to a shoot two days later, picked up a few punches and fell in love. Big plus is it fit me off the rack.

I bought the stock bolt and weights and 3 barrel weights even after Braxton told me I didn't need 3. I used the stock bolt and 0 barrel weights. My gun weighs 8# 5oz. with just that added. One weight on the barrel has a huge change in balance point.
