I have a problem. I like my L4s Initial Hunter. I really like it.

It's already a very acceptable weight for upland hunting, but what if it weighed maybe half a pound less? What if they made the L4s scaled to 20 ga? Please? A L4s 20 ga. Compact and I would have it in grey this time.

I have a theory. A conspiracy theory. Fabarms, the buzzards, want me to buy a Elos D2.

If they wanted to sell me an Autumn, it would need to have double triggers, and I am such an odd duck that a side-by-side would please me but a single trigger side-by-side is like a sports car with automatic transmission. No, not how nature, science and God intended.

My real problem with my L4s is that... I really really like it. A companion in 20 ga and in the Compact (Syren for us smaller guys)... how is it these would not sell like hotcakes?

We've been begging our Fabarm rep for 3 years to tell the Big Wigs at Fabarm to build a 20 ga gun.
While you're at it, would you please beg them to make the L4S 12 gauge sporting model heavier? I've added the aftermarket stock weight and barrel weight and the gun still is only 7 lbs. 12 ounces. I love the gun, but it needs more weight for high volume shooting. Thanks in advance.

I’d buy a 20 gauge in a heartbeat, but it needs to cycle the commonly available dove & target loads of 7/8 oz @ ~1200fps.

I’ve seen several friends’ 20 ga autos that wouldn’t cycle those, which, to me, seems pointless.

Problem solved, I bought a syren over and under.

Not an option at 6'3" and 230#'s.......
Lots of companies make plenty of shotguns in your size. At 5'6", it's nice to have a quality shotgun that is right on, without cutting inches off the butt and then finding I cut off cast as well!

You'll just have to get along with an Elos. The machining inside is like surgical equipment. It's spooky how clean it is.
