Manufacturing tolerances are better. Better materials. Finish won't wash off in the rain. Better trigger. Stock ergonomics are better. I had a 694 and wasn't all that impressed. I had to seal up the wood so that the stock was at least acceptable compared to other guns of the same value. I eventually sold it. If you are on the taller side, the Blaser will fit better.
I’m 6’3 and have found the 694 to feel a little light in my hands. What about the Blaser makes you say it fits better for taller people? Just curious as I’ve not been about to shoulder one yet.

When both guns are zero'd out at comb, the F16 accommodates more drop for a taller person. Longer grip on the F16 for bigger hands. I found the trigger-to-grip reach better on the F16. Try them both out.. You'll probably find the F16 is even lighter feeling. If you want something with a smoother swing and mid weight you'll need to move up to a competition gun. Even then some I find some are too whippy for me as well. You'd probably like a K80 Sporter, DT11, MX8, MX2000, CG Invictus, Kolar, Zoli. I'm probably missing some but these guns all have a good amount of weight but are in a higher price range than the 694/F16..

I am in the market for a new sporting clays gun. I have narrowed it down to the Blaser F16 and the Beretta 694 B-Fast with a 32" barrel. I was able to shoot sporting with an F16 (Kruse Pro Model) at the Grand the past weekend, unfortunately Beretta did not have any demo guns. The F16 was well balanced. Although the recoil did not seem much different then my Beretta SP3, which was fitted by Jim Greenwood.

Yes, the Blaser is a little more money, but I consider them both in the same class of guns. The F3 is a little more than I would like to spend at this time.

For those that have shot both, which do you prefer and why? To be honest I do like the grip and the palm swell of the 694 a little better. I have read issues with both guns and I do believe this is not the norm for either mfg.
Try both out, personally I would probably go Blaser at that price range.

A young man I know recently got a used Blaser F3 for 7K.

My wife shoots a 694 and wouldnt give it up for anything. The one annoying problem we had with it was triggers not resetting with light reloads, 7/8 ounce. Coles modified the trigger to make it work like a mechanical trigger..
Its been great since but was an annoying problem that we paid to get fixed. It been great since
