What are your thoughts on the 28ga models made in OH?

My thought is if you saw one for sale and didn't buy it, it is probably already gone. They seem to get hoovered up pretty quick.

I shot skeet with a guy once who shot one occasionally, English stock , light but a good balance for a short barrel. I would love to have one.

I wish I would have bought one when could be had from the factory. I customer ordered a gun from them about 10 years ago. They were available then.

I have one. I like it but don't love it. Its very light. I think if I hunted with it it would be the best option. Been just using it occasionally for skeet. Is a beautiful gun and functions flawless.

I have one and LOVE it. I shot it on our Huglu pheasant hunt last year and it was deadly.

Bought my first Ithaca 37, 20 ga in 1967. Now have an example of all gauges.
The 28, made in Ohio, seems to be of similar quality of all the others, with very nice wood as well. The 28 operates smoothly and functions flawlessly.

wish they would have made a 410

The LGS had one on their website, so I suited up and took the trip to make a better examination. When I asked about it, the owner of the shop told me that it was sold 20 minutes after he posted to his inventory.

You have to get into the habit of running scans every day and be prepared to move. If you really want one, be prepared to scorch your pants whipping out the wallet to get to the credit card.

They're all out of stock. You'll see it when you make all the choices (stock, length, finish, etc.).

I allegedly have one on order. They said 18-24 month wait. Its been 16 so far.

I hope they make them again. The halt in production has definitely driven the market up on them. I love mine.

The only thing I did was change out the recoil pad with a reproduction Ithaca sunburst pad. The gun doesn't really kick anyway, but the sunburst just looks better. in my opinion.

Bought one the first year they came out.Used it a lot at first,but of late have had little time to get out hunting and when I do ,I seem to be taking another 28 gauge gun.
