This past weekend at the Illinois State Trapshoot, I spoke with a gentleman (who's name I can't recall) that is involved in the re-building of the Gateway Gun Club. They are still plugging away and hoping to begin operations in the near future.

Everyone,

Work has started on the skeet field fences. There is also new asphalt parking lot, windows in club house, and if you look closely can still see the ten foot high water line from the '93 flood on one of the buildings. Heck it is a wonder that they have gotten this far since they are rebuilding in a flood plain. My congratulations to their lawyer….

Looks like the folks at Gateway Gun Club have put up some lights for a little night shooting. Maybe someday they will turn
on the lights and open the place up. Boy they must have deeeeeeep pockets. Must have really hacked someone off
either in the county or city govenment.

Looks like they have formed up some walk ways and getting ready to pour concrete.
