Been looking for a Citori after falling in love shooting a friend's. Last night ran across a "used" one (sure looked new to me!) for a nice price ($1,100).

Not sure what model -- no engraving, and it's got 3-1/2" chamber. I like the stark simplicity of it.

Plan to use for pheasant and other upland birds a half-dozen or so times a season and shooting some clays.

Will this gun be too heavy? That's my only reluctance.

I had a 3 1/2in Citori and sold it for $850 about 3 years ago for just that reason...Mine was an earlier model with the standard engraveing and gloss stock and was in LN condition with box/papers.....It weighs quite a bit more than the 3in gun [1/2 lb. to 3/4 lbs] and is made mostly for waterfowl hunting [sitting and waiting] ....it becomes quite a load to haul around in the field all day but would work OK for clays......Id wait for a 3in gun or even a 20ga for what you'll be using it for.....
