Anyone have any great techniques for getting out of a slump? Lets see... in "Bull Durham", didn't Kevin Kosner had his pitcher put his underware on backwards... Or was that "Tin Cup?"

I`d have to say that is the advice I`d accept. Walking away for 3 or 4 weeks may help. I had a VERY bad week at work and just rode down to the range today and watched for a hour or so...and left. Talked with some good friends and really enjoyed that. I knew there was no way my head would be in the game so why waste ammo? And pick up bad habits. I think you can shoot TO MUCH!Em Are Skeet said:Tuff time of year to beak a slump. Best way to beak a slump imho is to walk away from the game for awhile. Ever notice how the problem target of last fall is no problem the next spring? When you come back from the break, it's fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals.
Mid season is tuff time to walk away. But you might cut the practice, and just work on diligent execution of fundamentals at serious shoots.
