I have an old double barrel 16 gauge, crescent made in 1926. It’s been suggested to me that it may not have 2 3/4 inch chambers, is there any way to tell from the fired shell if this is the case? I would expect the shell opening to be slightly tapered if it was too long for the chamber but mine...
