  1. Shotgun ID & Value
Hi -- I recently came into possession of an ithaca SxS. Was hoping for an appraisal. I think it is from 1893 based on serial number 25284. It is a 10ga SxS and hammered so i belive it is a New Ithaca Gun -- NIG. The area under the barrel clamp is stamped with an "A". How much do these sell for...
  2. Ithaca Shotguns
Checking to see if anyone is aware of any public library/university having a copy of either Walt Snyder's books on the Ithaca company or Model 37? My first shotgun was a 12 gauge (50 plus years ago) and I just picked up a 20 gauge of the same vintage. This forum has a wealth of info, and I'd be...
  3. Shotgun ID & Value
I need a little help trying to figure out what I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Little backstory, I picked up this well used O/U in North Dakota in ‘02 I think. Favorite gun by far. But needs a new butt stock. I found another almost identical but with different ejectors. My plan...

1915 Ithaca Flues 1 1/2 12ga 26" barrel w/ Krupp fluid steel barrels. Rolled dog engraving with zig zag border and matching serial numbers. I bought this with assurances it was rare and I can't find this combo anywhere online. It's in excellent condition. Can anyone help with any more info...
  5. Shotgun ID & Value
Got a guy interested in my Ithaca. Water table has 410 stamped but no grade (where I'm having trouble valuing it). Foregrip does have an "A" stamped with serial #. All numbers match. #45269. Believe this makes it 1928 for manufacture date but not positive. Used condition but very clean and tight.
  6. Shotgun ID & Value
Just picked this up at a local gun show and wondering what kind of ID I could get on it. All the numbers I see on this gun all match. I can take more specific photos if it would help, just let me know what you need. This is my first sxs shotgun, have wanted one forever and really liked the...
  7. Shotgun Gunsmithing & Restoration
Hi all, I was sold an awesome Ithaca 37 Featherweight 20g, 2-3/4”, Full Choke for peanuts. It is not my main gain. Question: could I lengthen the forcing cone so I can shoot 3” shells out of it? A 3” loads / ejects just fine. Yes, I know to never shoot the wrong shell in a gun. Would like some...

I'm working on a buddy's side by side. I have no experience with side by sides. I have everything loose to get the receiver off of the stock, but it appears stuck on something. The top screw under the latch was a stripped out and had been replaced at some point. It almost seems like a metal...
