Congratulations in your getting a teriffic gun . The newer 1100CT is one of the finest looking shotguns ever produced . I got to run a few shells through one a few months back -- it was a delight to shoot .
Generally speaking , Remington has put some outstanding wood on their non-beater guns .
Good choice .
