I am ready to replace the Stock. I have the gun taken apart. Can someone let me know where the flat washer and then the lock washer are placed? My bad for not waiting or taking a picture of it when removed. My guess is that they sit against each other in the butt end of the stock where the nut is tightened to hold the stock in place. I had the stock off the gun while waiting for the new stock to arrive which took a couple weeks. Thank you.

Stock bolt, then install lock washer then install flat washer. The flat washer is necessary to get the lock washer to flatten and provide its locking force. Without the flat washer the lock washer would just dig into the wood of the stock in the bolt hole.
