I am trying to find out more information about a 12 gauge double barrel shotgun with the serial number 280123.
Does anyone have any information.

It seems a lot of people think a gun's serial number is like the VIN number on a car. If you have that, it identifies the maker, model, year, original color, retailer, and the color of the original owner's eyes. Too bad it isn't so.
