Hi,

Can someone help on bringing some light on the early Daniele Perazzi side by sides designations?
In the "Italian Gun" book they name two designations DC ( 1966-19968) and DHO sidelock( 1965-1993)
I've seen a gun that doesn't fit into either designations - it's a sidelock from 1962, not a higher grade as some I've seen online, but a very nice gun nonetheless.
RIA auctions has a very similar one up for sale May 15 2022. Again, based on the book, this gun doesn't fit into the period the guns were allegedly made.

Perazzi and Fabbri built some guns together. I have no idea whose name might be on those. You might contact Lucio Sosta as he may be the most knowledgeable person in the US about that era. Pix would help him or others. Karl Lippard in CO (last I heard) may have some insights as well.
