So I already load 12, 16, and 20ga with the lee load all which works great. Unfortunately lee doesn't make a 28ga. So I need recommendations on what loader to get to load 28ga.
MEC is known for making high quality presses that will last. The 600 Jr. Mark 5 is MEC's most popular single stage model and for good reason. This press...
I load all my 28 gauge on a pre 82 MEC 600jr. It has been updated with new style wad fingers and precrimp. After 40 years and thousands of shells it still makes perfect shells.

I bought 3 Sizemasters from them over the years.
if I remember correctly it was free shipping. Not sure about that now.
I use a 600 jr MK V, it's been a wonderful asset. Even if you don't pick up a supersizer or use the sizemaster with the collett, the resizing ring seems to work fairly well, at least for shells I've picked up on the field that otherwise wouldn't allow the gun to close properly.
The Sizemaster comes in handy when you come across a tight chambered gun. It happens.
Another big plus with the Sizemaster is the Autoprime automatic primer feed.
It's a smidge over your $300 budget.
Since you don't load a whole bunch.... you're currently using Lee Loadalls, I would recommend a MEC Sizemaster. I think you'll enjoy the collet sizer better than the ring sizer of the 600 Jr.
I have a Mec 410, 28, and 20 ga Sizemaster for years. I load 12ga on a 9000 Automate.
I had a Lee Load All before the first Sizemaster. Then promptly sold the Lee Load All. Just my two cents.
Since you have experience, I would recommend the MEC Grabber, I love mine. Unfortunately, if you bought one you would probably end up with a couple of more that you hadn't planned on buying.
Very nice reloading benches I use the Lee's for metallic reloading but have not used Lee Load All's for years . Mec reloads all my shot shells now, but my older Lee Load All's will never leave my reloading room. Thanks for the look into your shop. I shoot at least 2,000 28 gauge shells a year and the Mec jr. serves all my needs so Mec gets my vote.
