28 ga. SxS

I have been shooting a 28 ga. O/U and am impressed with this little shell. I don't know why, but I have been bitten by the nostalga bug lately. I would like to purchase a 28 ga. SxS for the heck of it.

You guys have always given me great advice in the past, so let's keep it going. The fun budget has about 3k presently. Any suggestions?

On the other end of the scale, I have a DeHaan 28 SXS. It's been a fine gun, attractive, too and had it a little over a year and a half, and have put 3500+ rounds through it without a hiccup. It's a good shooter, breaks skeet and Sporting targets real well, and a pleasure to carry. SST but only extractors, but the price is under $1K.

Of course, I can't guarantee they are all made that way, but I am VERY pleased with mine!

The 28 makes a good quail, grouse, woodcock, pheasant and bunny gun, too!
