Does any one have a 1oz recipe for 28 gauge. I recently bought a case of 1oz ballistic products magnum 28 wads and need a good hunting load for pheasants/chuckers

Heaviest load I found any data on was for a 7/8 ounce load.

Since you'll be using BPI's wad, you ought to be using their data.

I'd stick with 3/4 ounce ounce tends to blow patterns in the 28 gauge

I have been loading the BPI with federal hulls and MEC#16 bushing with Hodgon Longshot and have been killing Pheasant and chukar well . The pattern has been excellant and 1290 fps.
