I'm looking at getting 28ga Briley tubes for my Ascent and wondered if I'll need to have any work done to the trigger assembly due to the lighter recoil for trigger set.

Typically, the only tubes that require trigger work are .410, my wife added the 28s this summer to her Zoli and it functions fine, your CG should too.

CG told me that 75% of their 12 GA shotguns do not need trigger work to function with .410 tubes. They were correct. Both of my 12 GA Summits work flawlessly with .410, 28 and 20.
