I've got both a 390-20 and a 391-12 and I use the pointed shish-kabob scewers of different dia. that are usually a little larger than the holes, and after drenching the holes with CLP and sitting for awhile, just twist the scewers back and forth while putting a little pressure and the wooden scewers will conform to the hole dia. and knock out all the carbon without fear of metal on metal damage. Also the wooden sticks can be used to push soaked patches in tight places in the action. I also keep chineze chop stix of varrious sizes (both wooden and the plastic variety) to get into tight places with a rag or patch. The're cheap and or free and can really come in handy, lining up pin holes, etc. :)
