The MEC Sizemaster in 410 doesn't come with an auto primer feed, and MEC says that there isn't one for it. Have any of you successfully used an auto primer feed with the Sizemaster in 410? I guess I can feed them by my big fat fingers, but I'm basically very lazy! :D

Sensai,
Flychamps is correct. I take a plastic bowl and dump the required number of primers into the bowl. I then reload form there. Putting the primers in a bowl makes that part of the process go just a bit faster. Reloading for the .410 is typically a slower process anyway, so trying to speed it up just a bit can be considered bonus. Reloading for the .410 is a very fun process. I enjoy loading for the .410 to be the most fun.
Enjoy!

Thanks, I didn't think that there was much chance of one being available for it. If there was a way to do it MEC would probably be selling them. Thanks for the bowl tip, too.

The OD of a primer flange is about 0.310. The ID of a 410 is 0.410. The inside of the primer seating tube would have to be around 0.320 so that the primer would drop freely. The tube needs to fit into the hull without catching on the crimp folds so the OD has to be well under 0.410. MEC has good draftsmen. I'm sure they looked a these same numbers and could not make it work. On a progressive the primer does not drop down through the seating tube.
