Purchased new via GunBroker - I hate buying shotguns online but the dearth of examples to fondle in real life gave me little option.

Usage will likely be 80% Skeet, 10% Sporting and 10% dove. Now we wait for the transfer-thing...

I patterned my shotgun on the weekend and was getting very tight patterns at 21 yards, so I measured the constrictions with a bore-gauge and calipers - here's what I have:

1. Full - .382" - .028
2. Imp Mod - .387" - .023
3. Mod - .390" - .020
4. Imp Cyl - .395" - .015
5. Cyl - .399" - .011

Kinda tight...

Anyway, I phoned Savage to see what options they have - and they want the whole gun and chokes shipped to them. I'm not in the mood for all that, so I ordered a few of their in-stock chokes which, if they're not already closer to spec, I can attempt to modify myself with some sandpaper/dowel.
