Are the barrels and extensions on these two guns the same as the 870 pmax.

Yes, all 3 are imp cyl and parkerized - only the sights are different. And the extensions are all +2. You can find the spec on all of the current Police variations here: http://www.remingtonle.com/shotguns/870.htm
