Why don't we see more A-5's on the sporting clay range?I shoot mine pretty good (sometimes), and recoil is really not a problem w/light loads. I seem to line up behind the receiver better because of the long, flat sighting plane, too. And, it ALWAYS works. Is it just "out of fashion" because of the "old design", or are there disadvantages I don't see? I have also hunted with A-5's for many years. Please respond with opinions!

I use an A-5 for trap and I am shooting better and better every week.

My father had a Sweet Sixteen,I never hunted well with it,except duck,then look out!.But on rabbit or pheasant,I couldn't pull up and aim well quickly enough.I've often thought that I'd do quite well with that gun shooting trap or skeet,[American rules,with the gun already at the shoulder].I don't know what's fashionable,but to me an A-5 seems well suited to the task.Keep shootin' it.
